Croydon’s brutal death metal kings FLESHROT have called it a day. The following statement has been issued:
“After long and careful consideration, Fleshrot will cease to exist as of today, we have had an amazing journey and made many good friends worldwide, we thank each and everyone one of you that supported us along the way, it has not been an easy decision but due to extenuating circumstances we have decided it is the best thing for Fleshrot to end on such a high, so after 8 crazy years we thank everyone who has been involved with and supported Fleshrot. Thanks again to you all, and KEEP ROTTING!!!”
Vocalist Ben Rot Wright added: “Sad day, today we announced that Fleshrot is no more… I have made millions of amazing unforgettable memories and made some amazing friends worldwide, thank you to each and everyone of you that have supported the band and on a personal level thank you to everyone who has supported me through the years, this is by no means the end of my musical career but unfortunately the end for Fleshrot, thanks again guys.”
Fleshrot were an ever-growing force in the tech-death underground and one of the UK’s most promising exports. ZT wishes them all the best!
