ZT recently teamed up with our friends at Dark Essence to bring you a premiere of the new video from Five The Hierophant. Now we are very pleased to present a stream of the full album: Over Phlegethon.

The UK trio’s instrumental music is composed of ritualistic soundscapes fused with psychedelic black metal, jazz, post metal and ambient. Over Phlegethon is be the follow up to the  self-titled  EP Five the Hierophant,  which was released in 2015 on Witching Hours Productions. With Over Phlegethon, the trio has created an utterly bleak, dark and devastating album that combines heavy riffs, drone-like atmospheres and an intensity you only find in black metal. Using instruments like the djembe, rag-dung, violin, bowed guitars and saxophone, alongside a normal band set-up, Five the Hierophant regale the listeners with unique and varied soundscapes on this, their debut full-length album.

The album is released 22 September, so take an advance listen on us…
