With the success of London’s inaugural Incineration Festival, held earlier this year, the event is slated to make a return in 2015. Just last week a list of initial bands was unleashed to the public and already the festival boasts a mouth-watering bill, showing all that it is back with a bang!
First off, the all-dayer shall mark the return of Swedish black/death legends, Necrophobic, to London! This shall be their first UK show since 2011 and also a UK premier with new vocalist Anders Strokirk, who appeared on their debut album, The Nocturnal Silence. Overall the line-up looks to be a full on Scandinavian assault, with names such as Woland, Oranssi Pazuzu, Alfahanne, Aura Noir, Impaled Nazarene and Shining also set to play. Along with these are the German doom squad Essenz, Prostitute Disfigurement from the Netherlands and London’s very own Bast. Despite these great names, headliners are still yet to be announced!
The event is to be jointly put on by Aeon Promotions, Old Empire and The Nazgul Agency, with the modus operandi of bringing a new breed of festival to the South of England, supporting only the most extreme music. Tasty.
Incineration Festival takes place on the 9th of May across three venues in London: The Electric Ballroom, Camden Underworld and The Black Heart. Tickets look to be around the £28 mark and can be purchased from the following link.
More bands to be announced soon, so watch this space!
