Don your shiniest armour and prepare for battle, Ensiferum are back in the saddle and ready to put out their fifth album on August 27th. Entitled ‘Unsung Heroes’, this will be the follow-up to their 2009 album ‘From Afar’ and will be released once again on Spinefarm Records.
‘Unsung Heroes’ is produced by Hiili Hiilesmaa (Sentenced, Apocalyptica, HIM), and will feature guest slots from members of Die Apokalyptischen Reiter and Finnish singer/actor Vesa-Maati Loiri.
“We’ve tried to push the different aspects of what we do as far as we can,” reflects the band, “the sonic scope is wider than ever. The folk elements go further down that path and the metallic parts will absolutely rip your face off!”
