Thrash maniacs Destruction are set to record their 30th anniversay album later this month.
.
The mad butchers will enter the studio at the end of July to commence recording the LP, which will be released in November via Nuclear Blast Records.
.
Frontman Marcel ‘Schmier’ Schirmer states: “[We are] recording the demos for the new album now. Eight songs are written and it feels great… Amazing teamwork so far! [I] can’t wait to nail down the new shit in the studio! [Drummer] Vaaver will make the job of a lifetime. The new record will be much more intense than ‘Day Of Reckoning’! And that wasn’t a blues album …haha!”
.
Accordingly, the Teutonic trio will make a limited amount of festival appearences this summer, including the following:
.
June 30th – Basinfire Festival, Spalene Porici, Czech Republic
July 27th – L`Art Scenique, Selestat, France
August 18th – Castle Invasion Festival, Fraunstein/Mining, Austria
August 24th/25th – Neuborn Open Air Festival, Wörstedt, Germany
September 29th – Summers End Festival, Andernach, Germany
.
Destruction recently wrapped up their ’30th Year Anniversary Tour’ in North America, supported by Warbringer, Vital Remains and Pathology.
