Progressive thrashers/HMers DECEPTOR have uploaded their recent EP Soothsayer for free online streaming. Guitarist Sam Mackertich comments:
“Deceptor definitely aren’t into endless online self promotion, yet sites like Bandcamp, YouTube and Soundcloud have changed how some people discover new music. We were always planning on putting it online at some point, however we wanted the first wave of CD consumers to feel like they had something more exclusive. Once something has been spammed over the internet, it can turn off some potential fans.”
