Covid-19 Update

A quick update to let you all know that after a long hard slog and a fair bit of patience while we waited for newsstand stores worldwide to reopen and the music industry to fully get rolling again, issue 096 is now heading down to print late next week, and once it’s signed sealed and delivered it will make its way through wholesale and onto sale racks in early July (7th/8th). The digital edition will be available to buy as soon as we head to print, around 26th June. Subscription copies will be sent out directly as soon as the issue comes off press (very start of July), and depending on the postal service in your area, will reach you before it reaches the shops in whatever country you reside.

This necessary delay to publication will give stockists of the magazine ample time to get back to something more closely resembling normality as restrictions are further lifted, and it has also enabled as many labels and artists to collaborate with us this issue as possible – important given the strain caused by lockdown on release dates etc. We have all faced challenges over the past few months, from personal / family related illnesses, to juggling children at home with work, to isolation; and in some cases with labels, writers and artists, having to have pressed the pause button for the duration of lockdown.

Happily, we’re really looking forward to our return to the newsstand! Whilst these times dictate that we will need to adjust our schedules for the remaining issues this year, 097, 098 and 099 will still make it out in 2020 as planned.

Thanks for dropping in!
