BROKEN HOPE REFORM- SIGN TO CENTURY MEDIA

Twelve years after they went on indefinite hiatus, Chicago death metal troupe Broken Hope has reformed, to treat us once again to their gore saturated brand of heaviness. Not only this, but the band has also signed to Century Media records with the hope of a new album to be released in 2013. The record will be the first with the new look Broken Hope line-up, with Gorgasm vocalist Damien Leski filling the void left by original Broken Hope front-man Joe Ptacek, after his tragic suicide in 2010. Guitarist and founding member Jeremy Wagner had this to say:

“For years, I wanted to write a new Broken Hope album and see BH firmly placed with a new home. My dream came true as Broken Hope just signed a worldwide deal with Century Media. I’ve harboured great appreciation for CM and its stellar roster of artists since ’88 and I’m extremely happy and grateful to see Broken Hope become part of the CM family. My sincere thanks to Robert Kampf and Maurizio Iacono for embracing our musical art. Watch for a new, sick and über-ferocious Broken Hope album to hit the globe in 2013!”

Broken Hope will feature on the bill for the 2013 Extremefest (Germany) and Maryland Deathfest.
