BLOODSTOCK ADDS WITCHSORROW, BATTALION AND DRIPBACK!

Bloodstock, the festival where the cigarette-sales-girls look like porn-stars… umm, I mean hot models, has added further bands to it ever-growing awesome roster. This time it’s doomsters Witchsorrow, Swiss thrashers Battalion and London’s Dripback joining on the Sophie stage. Witchsorrow vocalist/guitarist Necroskull (Cultfinder-fame) looks forward to the event big-time:

“Bloodstock has a special place in our black hearts, and it is with no small amount of pride that we will once again be returning to soil the air of Derbyshire with our doomed hymns for the damned. Once again, lightning strikes the earth around Catton Hall. Hallelujah!”

The open air festival is held on the grounds of Catton Hall, a country house used for horse trials, between 9 and 12 of August. Current headliners include Alice Cooper and Behemoth, with a mystery act to be unveiled on the 6th of June at 6pm. The frequent use of the number  six has lead some to believe that the organizers behind the fest are massive satanists. Others believe it is a mere reference to the Anvil song ‘666’. Who knows? We’ll keep you updated. It’s important.
