BLOODSTOCK 2015: RECAP

OG_Promo_Shot_6_BampWCopySo, it’s been a few weeks since the clocks changed, the evenings are darker and this past summer’s Bloodstock feels like an aeon ago, with memories of the August event becoming a bundle of hazy recollections (nothing to do with festival drinking, honest!). Well, fear not, as it’s time to focus attention to next year’s event! With a couple of line-up announcements for the 2015 instalment already given, we thought a recap of what the BOA HQ bods have been working on was in order.

.

In their most recent bulletin, organisers announced that home-grown stoner types, Orange Goblin, shall be gracing the Ronnie James Dio stage with their presence in 2015! Joining them are Norwegian black metallers, 1349, who make a return to the main stage after their performance in 2011. Both acts have new albums out, so expect to hear some fresh-cuts come next August (which, come to think of it, may not actually be that fresh by then). Along with these two, US heavies Armoured Saint are set to make their Bloodstock debut, who expressed the following on the news “[we] are super excited and honoured to be a part of Bloodstock 2015! And by then we’ll have our new record out! See you all soon!”.

.

These acts shall be joining a bill that already includes the likes of Nuclear Assault, Death Angel, Death To All, Sepultura, Cannibal Corpse, Ihsahn, Opeth, Within Temptation (Saturday headliner) and Rob Zombie (Sunday headliner).

.

Early bird tickets are currently on sale and available here, but be quick as they won’t be around for long (offer ends 15th of December at midnight!).

Thanks for dropping in!
