Blackened death rockers Atriarch have been signed up by Relapse Records to record their 3rd LP due out in the fall 2014.
From Portland, Oregon, not surprisingly, Atriarch provide a variety of supernatural atmospheres filtered through an open-mind uniting of the opposites – the band cites darkness, destruction, peace, and enlightenment as influences. These depths of ritual doom rock will be recorded in summer 2014 by appropriate producer/engineer Billy Anderson (Sleep, Eyehategod, Agalloch).
Atriarch comments: “We are constantly evolving as artists and we want to do something new with each release. Having said that it will always be dark and heavy and honestly reflect how we feel. Atriarch is a manifestation of our catharsis.”
