Behemoth frontman admitted to hospital. Tourdates cancelled!

BEHEMOTH have cancelled all upcoming tour dates after frontman Adam “Nergal” Darski was admitted to hospital for an undisclosed illness. After being rushed to Gdansk Medical University Hospital, Nergal released a statement today regarding cancellations but did not give any details of his condition, saying only that it was “serious”. Polish media allege that he is receiving treatment in the hospital’s haematology ward.
He said: “I’d like to announce that BEHEMOTH won’t be able to tour for the forseeable future. I know how much it sucks, but health comes first. I can assure all of you that when we return, I’ll be stronger than death, and we’ll reschedule every tour as soon as logistics allow. The band’s upcoming tours of Russia, the Baltic States and the USA with Watain are officially cancelled. We wish Nergal a speedy recovery.

Thanks for dropping in!
