Described as dissonant and a bit weird, “Inverted Escape,” the latest from Norwegian avant-garde metallers Virus, can now be streamed online. Check it out HERE!
The track from the group’s upcoming mini-CD “Oblivion Clock,” will coincide with the band’s European tour in December with Vulture Industries, Krakow and Mondovolland.
The metal dissonance started in 2000 as the project of frontman and guitarist Carl-Michael “Czral” Eide (Aura Noir, Satyricon, Ulver, Dødheimsgard, Cadaver), with the help of bassist Petter “Plenum” Berntsen (Audiopain), and drummer Einar “Einz” Sjursø (Lamented Souls, Infernö, Beyond Dawn).
Before admitting to being slightly perplexed by this piece, give it another listen and admire its weirdness that has fascinated metallers all over the world. Intriguing!
