RITUAL FESTIVAL ADD TWO MORE BANDS TO LINEUP

Ritual - 2nd announcement posterAll Pigs Must Die and a reformed Canvas will appear at next year’s Ritual Festival in Leeds.

Canvas, the crushing noisecore crew from Leeds, are exclusively reforming for the doom ‘n’ death gathering, having split up back at the start of the century. All Pigs Must Die feature Kevin Baker of The Hope Conspiracy and Converge’s Ben Koller.

Bands previously announced for next year’s Ritual Festival include headliner Ihsahn, Misery Index, The Afternoon Gentlemen, Crepitation, Corrupt Moral Altar, Conjurer, Serpent Venom and Groak.

“At Ritual we are really excited to bring All Pigs Must Die to the festival and add them to a growing bill of awesome and brutal bands,” says festival director Daniel Vaughan. “We’ve also managed to convince one of the most legendary extreme bands from Leeds, Canvas, to reform for their first gig in over 16 years. They may have split many years ago but their influence on the scene has continued and you just can’t miss them this time round.”

Ritual Festival takes place on Saturday 8th April 2017 at Canal Mills in Leeds. It will be preceded by an official pre-show on Friday 7th April at Belgrave Music Hall, Leeds, featuring Bolzer, Fen, The Infernal Sea and Sathamel.
