PARADISE LOST SET TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM MEDUSA IN SUMMER 2017

Legendary misery merchants Paradise Lost have announced that their latest album is due for release via Nuclear Blast towards the end of the summer and will be titled Medusa.

As with their previous album The Plague Within, the band has recorded at England’s Orgone Studios with producer Jaime Gomez Arellano. Guitarist/songwriter Greg Mackintosh states that “the new album will be slower, sludgier and more doom-filled than ever before. Eight riff-laden monster tracks of sheer northern misery.”

2015’s The Plague Within enjoyed a positive response for its reintroduction of death metal elements into the band’s modern style so the news that the band is set to further that direction is sure to be very welcome.
