MORE ACTS ADDED TO BLOODSTOCK 2015 BILL

Napalm-Death-2014With the first month of 2015 behind us, hopefully leaving with it any lingering January blues, BOA organisers are on task in crafting an interesting line up for this summer’s event.

.

Earlier this week it was unveiled that UK grind institution Napalm Death shall be making a return to Catton Park in August. Front man Mark ‘Barney’ Greenway had to the follow to say about the band’s upcoming appearance, “”Playing at Bloodstock is literally like stepping out of our front doors to climb onstage, so we’ll be projecting a great big wall of noise from Birmingham to Catton Park! We personally know most of the staff and crew, so we look forward to watching them flog themselves to death, while we stand idly by and take in the sights, smells, and sounds of this friendly old fest. Grind!” Napalm’s latest album, Apex Predator – Easy Meat, was released just last week via Century Media.

.

Joining Birmingham’s noisy mob, also for a main stage slot, are Wolf from Sweden. These Scandinavian heavy metallers are no strangers to the festival either, having played in 2007, 2009 and 2011 respectively. The band have declared ““The Wolves are back and we can’t wait to play our favourite festival again! Bloodstock, let it be loud!” Last summer saw the release of their sixth album, Devil Seed, on Century Media.

.

Taking the Sunday ‘special guest’ slot on the Ronnie James Dio stage shall be Zakk Wylde’s Black Label Society. Zakk himself had the following comments, “We’re looking forward to seeing the mighty UK Chapter of the all-mighty Black Label when we get rolling at the Bloodstock festival in August!”

.

These acts shall be joining a bill that includes the likes of Orange Goblin, 1349, Armoured Saint, Nuclear Assault, Death Angel, Death To All, Sepultura, Cannibal Corpse, Ihsahn, Opeth, Sabaton, Agalloch, Trivium (Friday headliner), Within Temptation (Saturday headliner) and Rob Zombie (Sunday headliner).

.

Bloodstock is held at Catton Park, Derbyshire on 6th-9th August 2015. Tickets for 2015′s event are on sale now. Buy your tickets now using this link.
