Covenant (you know, that classic, inspirational 1993 album from Floridian death metal legends Morbid Angel back when they messed with our heads in the right way) will be reissued via Earache Records in Europe on limited edition, Full Dynamic Range vinyl, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the album’s release.
This vinyl range is due for release on November 4th through the Earache European webstore, and will also be available in limited quantities directly from the band on their Covenant 20th anniversary US tour. It will also see its release in Europe via on the same date. For those of you keen to be sure of getting hold of a copy, you can pre-order now.
This reissue serves as a reminder that no matter how hard so many of us might lament for a Bobby Ewing moment, this era of Morbid Angel can be safely consigned to history. And such a glorious past it was! At least we can hold on to those memories with new, jazzy vinyl, eh?
