As the nights draw in, the Summer festival season all but a fond yet distant memory, it’s time to venture into the sweaty safety of dingy, dank venues across the country and support the horde of bands on these shores in their live endeavours. Here at ZT, we like to keep you up-to-date, so look no further than here to see what you ought not to miss.
The current issue’s cover stars, Twilight Of The Gods, are set to embark on a mini-tour of shows in support of their debut album for Season Of Mist, the heavy metal laden ‘Fire On The Mountain’. With Primordial’s Alan ‘Nemtheanga’ Averill fronting a band made up of some of extreme metal’s luminaries – Rune ‘Blasphemer’ Eriksen, Frode ‘Grimar’ Glesnes, Patrik Lindgren, Nick Barker – they’re well worth including in your Autumnal plans. What’s more, they’re slotted between headliners, Greece’s Rotting Christ, and opening act Negura Bunget! A triple-whammy by all accounts. The tour kicks off today in Germany and will make its way over in the direction of the UK and Ireland right on cue for Halloween:
31 Oct 13 Manchester @ Sound Control
01 Nov 13 Glasgow @ Audio
02 Nov 13 Leeds @ Damnation Festival
3 Nov 13 Dublin @ Voodoo Lounge
05 Nov 13 London @ Electrowerkz
