Serbia’s Grom Records will release the sophomore album from Danish atmospheric black metal one-man armada Fjorsvartnir. The platter, titled “Legions Of The North”, is slated for a March release and reportedly brings that direct Scandinavian spirit of black metal roots from the beginning of the 90s.
Fjorgyn, mastermind behind all the music, ideas and concepts, commented: “The upcoming album will contain both longer and bigger compositions, more tempo changes and more sound production. All that’ll make this a perfect melodic black metal release, as never heard before from Denmark! The 6 songs combines both elements from the great old school black metal, doom metal and few folk elements, which I think have given this album a really nice and big atmospheric sound, from the very first second, to the last”.
