ENTRAILS ARE BACK TO OBLITERATE

EntrailsEntrails, the band from Linneryd, Sweden that worships the Sunlight Studios sound in a million different ways, have a new album ready. The aptly-titled Obliteration will be unleashed in June with the seal of Metal Blade Records and promises to dig a hole in your eardrums – the fine art of death metal.

Entrails were first formed in 1990 but, dissatisfied with the demo recordings they kept their music to themselves. After a ten-year pause, the band returned in 2008; sole original member Jimmy Lundqvist (guitar) brought in guitarist Penki (of Void) and the rhythm section of gods Birdflesh (Jocke Svensson on bass and vocals, Adde Mitroulis on drums and vocals) and the albums started rolling.

Comments Lundqvist: “Finally, we can unleash this beast named Obliteration to the fans out there, this time with a more driven and raw style that shall taste good to everyone’s ears if you’re into the older simplified death metal that we prefer to play.”

Obliteration, Entrails’ album number four, was tracked by Jimmy Lundqvist at his Bloodshed Studios whereas the legend Dan Swanö handled the mix and mastering.
