The third full-length album from Greek necromancers Burial Hordes is ready and on its way. The band’s new album is called “Incendium” and will be out in early 2014 via Polish label Hellthrasher Productions.
Cthonos, singer with the band and one of the most vicious voices these ears have witnessed, comments: “Incendium album is one more nail upon the cross of mankind. It contains 8 tracks (41 minutes playing time) and combines the black death bestiality with haunted guitar themes.” Indeed, the songs are a lot closer to death metal brutality than black metal ecstasy this time around. This is suitably reflected in the sound. “We used for first time 7 string guitars and 5 string bass for a composite harmonic sound and that help us to spawn the most dark, extreme and claustrophobic Burial Hordes album so far. Incendium was mixed and mastered at Endarker studio Sweden and Devo help us to achieve a very powerful with high dynamics sound. Totally satisfied from his work”.
This is the first offering from the band to feature drummer Nuctemeron (Embrace of Thorns, Necrovorous, Resurgency).
