ZT have teamed up with Prosthetic Records to bring you an exclusive look at the brand new video from Abhorrent Decimation.
The band state that “We’ve been looking forward to putting this single out, it’s one of the more “straight-up” heavy tracks from ‘The Pardoner’. We don’t have that many tracks like this on the album, so I think it will stand out to a lot of people that hear it. It’s short, sharp and to the point and shows off some of the more modern aspects of ‘The Pardoner’.
The video was shot and directed by David Archer, our Bassist and linchpin. Archer also produced, mixed and mastered the new album. We’ve been loving having total creative control over everything we have been putting out and working on recently. It feels like it’s the only way we can put out product that is 100% true to our vision. This video is part of an ongoing creative process.
The video doesn’t actually relate to any part of ‘The Pardoner’ concept. In fact, it’s quite the opposite and intentionally so. The approach was rather than create a concept video that correlated with the lyrics and the “story”, we tried to produce something that matched the character of the song. We feel it’s simple, effective, unsettling and dark.”
