Booze-sponge thrashers Tankard will publish their official biography this autumn. Coinciding with the pioneer thrashers’ 30th anniversary celebration (since 2012), the book, entitled ‘Life In Bermuda – Die etwas andere Biographie’ (a different kind of biography) was written by a chap called Michael Schumacher – the music journalist, not Damon Hill’s worst nightmare.

The 208-page long opus will feature exclusive documents from throughout the band’s career, as well as interviews with all band members. The publisher will be Nicole Schmenk Publishing.

When asked about a English version, the band had this to say:

“Our biography/book will be only published in German. If the demand for an English version is big enough, there might be a chance for an English version too, though.”
