Black metal avant-gardists, Nachtmystium, are currently working on their sixth full-length release. Following on from the post-punk influenced Black Meddle Part II, band founder, Blake Judd, reveals; “The new record will have a very strong industrial influence in the vein of later-era Ministry, Revolting Cocks and Nine Inch Nails, but also a strong, depressive, old-school black metal influence.”
The band also collaborating with USBM legends Von on two separate projects; a 12” split between the two bands is in the works, which will include a new track and a tribute to Von from Nachtmystium, while Blake Judd is one of a dozen guest artists that will be appearing on Von Venien’s self-titled project.
