FREE MUSIC FROM MISANTROF AND HYPNOTIC DIRGE LABELS

Fancy some free music? Hypnotic Dirge release a free compilation to celebrate three years of activity, while Misantrof ANTIRecords (owned by Daniel Vrangsinn, Carpathian Forest), release their fourth annual Anti-Christmas compilation for free download/streaming.

Entitled ‘Desolation, Dissonance, Delirium’, the free digital download from Hypnotic Dirge contains a collection of audio, video and text. With the exception of Neige et Noirceur, all the bands featured are on the HDR roster including such misery-peddlers as The Foetal Mind, Netra, Stroszek and Old Forgotten Lands…the perfect antidote to that sickening festive cheer!

Meanwhile, ‘Holy Fucking ANTIChristmas Volume 4’ contains 18 tracks which have all been either newly written or adapted exclusively for the compilation. Music comes from Dim Aura, Glomb, Hjorth, Jesus Hitler One Man Gangbang Band, Lydia Laska, Throne Of Malediction, Vrangsinn plus lots more.

Regarding the ANTIChristmas albums, Vrangsinn explains: “Christmas has now lost whatever religious significance it had to all but a small handful of people, and it has become an orgy of exploitation where everyone is encouraged to spend money they probably don’t have.  We just wanted to give everyone something for free, and hopefully at the same time make people sit back and realise that there are ways to have fun that do not require vast sums of money. It’s an 80+ minute long reality check on Christmas from 18 different artists and made for pure enjoyment and cost-free self-indulgence”
