ELECTRIC WIZARD TO HEADLINE TEMPLES FESTIVAL

Bristol’s premier heavy music festival Temples has announced doom heroes Electric Wizard as their Friday night headliner.

The organisers released the information on Radio 1 during Daniel P. Carter’s Monday evening Rock Show, amongst interviews with Baroness and The Dillinger Escape Plan (unrelated to Temples as neither will be appearing there) as well as playing a new track by High On Fire.

The Dorset quartet join Saturday night headliners Neurosis and an eclectic bill including Anaal Nathrakh, Blood Ceremony, Gehenna, Oathbreaker, Winterfylleth and more, in addition to 30 other bands, including Sunday night’s headliner, still to be announced.

It’s been three years since Electric Wizard’s last album ‘Black Masses’ dropped and work is apparently underway on their eighth full-length, although nothing has been confirmed yet.

The three day festival takes place from Friday May 2 to Sunday May 4 2014 at Motion in Bristol. Tickets are on sale now with day tickets costing £35 and weekend ones £85 (excluding booking fees).
