DEBUT ALBUM FOR VI READY

VI De Praestigiis

French black metallers VI have completed work on their long-awaited debut album. The band, featuring members of black metal luminaries Antaeus and Aosoth, have made known that their first full-length is titled De Praestigiis Angelorum and will be released on 25 September 2015 via Agonia Records.

VI formed in 2007 and are composed of INVRI (Aosoth, ex-Antaeus) on guitars and vocals, BST (Aosoth, ex-Antaeus, ex-Aborted) on bass and Blastum (ex-Aosoth, ex-Antaeus, Merrimack) on drums. Their forthcoming material is in the vein of those bands, boasting startling guitar work, choirs and subtle sample parts. VI describe their music as “extreme, devoted black metal with illuminated chaos”.

The recording process took place in BST Studio (Antaeus, Hell Militia, Aosoth, Vorkreist) over five long years. The cover artwork has been created by Alexander L. Brown (Leviathan, Stargazer, Bölzer, Darkthrone).
