ZT PREMIERE: SILENT STREAM OF GODLESS ELEGY VIDEO

In collaboration with our pals, aka France’s Season Of Mist, we’re pleased to give you an exclusive watch of Silent Stream Of Godless Elegy‘s  ‘Dva Stíny Mám’ (‘I Have Two Shadows’) performed live at 2013’s Masters Of Rock Festival. The track is taken from the band’s 2010 release, Návaz.

The band have been pioneering folk metal since their founding in 1995 when they emerged from Hranice in Moravia, which makes up the eastern third of modern day Czech Republic deep within the Slavonic heartlands. The Slavic feelings of ancient longing and melancholy fuels the fires of passion on the band’s sixth album Návaz (which means a traditional amulet made from hair, blackberry leaves, ash and other morbid ingredients). Tradition permeates the music of the Moravians by their use of violin, cello, and dulcimer, and in the singing and choirs.

The band’s album the track is taken from, Návaz, is available to buy from SOM. So if you like what you see, point your mouse here.
