Editorial Message

Welcome dear reader!

Here we are again, with another killer edition of Zero Tolerance Magazine. And I don't say that as some sort of hopeful marketing line, this really is a brilliant edition which is, again, spilling its guts with some absolutely top-notch writing. I'm certainly richer in musical prowess having lived in close proximity to this issue during its production; our writers seriously know their onions, and crucially, how to craft pieces that are worth reading. It's down to their attention to detail and honest passion that my job writing this column is kind of redundant - I mean, really, why do you want to look here when you can turn this page to start reading what the many - and most definitely varied - artists who have joined us for this 73rd (yes, our 73rd!) instalment have to say?

From me personally, you're owed an apology for the run of deadline misses so far this year. Eight issues have been tricky to time, and just as I think I've got the schedule to work for all involved, a giant (yet thankfully metaphorical) spanner is thrown in the works. Anyway, I hope that this, er, imaginary spanner, is behind us now after a final few tweaks to our publication dates for the rest of the year - so thank you for being patient. It's worth noting that the gap between this and the next issue will be a touch shorter than usual (that's a good thing though, right?), so look out for issue 074 on the newsstands from July 19. While I'm on the subject, it would be remiss of me to not mention that a subscription to the magazine not only saves you a few quid, it also saves a trip to the newssagent, so if you haven't already, why not set a subscription up (and view our up-to-date publication dates) over at

On that note, I'll leave you to get stuck into this issue and really do hope you get lots out of it. I had a chance meeting at May's Incineration Festival with someone who has been buying us since issue 001, and it was great to hear how much these pages mean to some of you. I'm proud to deliver another issue, and the many more yet to come.

Thank you for reading.
